Here's what we got up to at The Shack Revolution's Open Evening, where we wanted to bring a romance to this modern wedding venue!

Fun and oh so special, The Shack Revolution is an absolute stunner of an alternative wedding venue

Celebrated for its modern take on a wedding day, it was the perfect backdrop for showcasing to couples how this could be the perfect space, with the help from us; an alternative wedding stylist.

Proud Wedding Stylist Moment!

We were tasked with the exciting job of styling both the top table and the ceremony room for the event.

Black and Yellow!?

We chose a strong and very unusual colour palette of vibrant yellows, soft blush pinks, and crisp whites which beautifully accented by our signature colour - black.

These colour combos aren't usually seen on a wedding day, but we want to try something new, and it worked! It seamlessly integrated with the venue’s industrial vibe, creating a chic yet relaxed atmosphere.

Plus our little skull brought that extra element of goth that we love.

All the Flowers!

In collaboration with Keely from Little Blooming Florist, we brought a breathtaking floral arch to life. The arch was a true showstopper, overflowing with a stunning arrangement of blooms that reflected our colour scheme while adding a touch of romance.

The delicate blush pinks contrasted beautifully with the pops of bold yellow, while the white flowers provided an elegant touch, all framed against the striking brick wall. And simply dotting some black pillar candles was just the right amount of 'special touches' to enhance the display and not distract from the floral arrangement. We really hope that we get to see this arch again at a gorgeous wedding!
