The Orangery shoot at Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens proves that clashing prints, bold colours, and maximalism belong in the wedding world.
With deep purples, rich greens, and statement patterns adorning the sweetheart table, this design wasn’t about playing it safe—it was about reimagining the whimsical garden theme with a nontraditional, edgy twist.
Set against the stunning grounds and glass-fronted orangery, this shoot is the perfect inspiration for couples who love romance but refuse to settle for a conventional take on it.
The Tablescape: A Maximalist Dream
Layered, textural, and completely unexpected, the tablescape was a bold expression of clashing prints done right. Deep botanical linens mixed with fresh green accents, creating a striking contrast against gold-rimmed glass charger plates and black-dipped gold cutlery.
Each place setting featured bold green dinnerware, topped with a vintage-inspired menu book—a thoughtful, storytelling touch that added to the shoot’s eclectic charm. Soft lilac florals spilled from brass vases, their organic shapes breaking up the structure of the tableware, while tinted purple glassware caught the light, bringing depth and drama to the setting.
Every detail felt curated yet effortless, proving that more is more when it comes to modern wedding styling.
